Just a friendly reminder that tonight is our Open House from 5:30-6:30pm. Walk around and see what your children are learning.

Are you looking for an opportunity to gain skills as a parent? Fortuna Teen Court, a program of Boys & Girls Club of the Redwoods, is hosting a new session of the Parent Project.
Parent Project is a 10-week series covering topics like improving family relationships, using effective discipline to improve school attendance and performance, reduce substance use and negative peer influences, and how to address destructive behavior. It is an opportunity to meet with other parents in
similar situations in a judgment-free zone and begin to develop a new support system.
Classes will meet every Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. beginning May 7 and ending July 9 at the Gene Lucas Community Center, 3000 Newburg Road, Fortuna. Dinner is served at 6 p.m. Staff will remain on hand until 9 p.m. to answer questions. A $30 donation is requested for books. Child care is optional; confirm if needed.
For more information, call 707-617-8160 or email fortunatc@bgcredwoods.org
