Our Fall Carnival is on Friday, November 6th! Pre-order wristband forms will be going home with your child soon!

It’s not too late to complete your Treasure Map, earn your prizes, and help your child’s teacher earn a shopping spree to purchase books and supplies for the classroom! When 60% of the classroom students register and invite 10+ friends and family members, that teacher will earn a $100 shopping spree. If 90% of the classroom invites 10+ friends and family members, the teacher will earn a $200 shopping spree.

The Salvation Army- Christmas toy registration will look a little different this year. Families who would like to register will need to come directly to The Salvation Army at 2123 Tydd Street during October 12th, 13th, 15th, 16th from 1-3pm and the 14th from 4-6pm to complete their registration application. Registration will remain open until all available spots are filled, so we encourage families who are interested to register as soon as possible. Families will need to come to our location in person to sign up.

We need volunteers to help at the PTO Fall Carnival! Would you be interested? Do you have a high school student that would like to help and get volunteer hours? All volunteers receive FREE Dinner. We need help running games and serving dinner. Shifts are from 4:30-6pm and 6-7:30pm. Message Ms. Bryie via Rooms or email at lbryie@riodellschools.net if able and interested. Thank you!

🎃 Pumpkin Patch Field Trip Reminder 🎃

Because the pumpkin patch will be closed to the public during our field trip, anyone attending with our classes must be an approved school district volunteer. For the safety of our students, all volunteers are required to have fingerprints on file with the district. Please make sure this requirement is completed prior to the field trip if you plan to attend. Thank you for helping us keep our students safe!

The Salvation Army- Thanksgiving food boxes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Salvation Army will be using a drive-through style pickup to make distribution as convenient as possible for families. The date and time of distribution will be sent out as soon as those details are finalized. Christmas toy registration will look a little different this year. Registration will remain open until all available spots are filled, so we encourage families who are interested to register as soon as possible. Families will need to come to our location in person to sign up.

Our 8th graders will be at the Fortuna Apple Harvest Festival this Saturday, October 3rd in front of Cornerstone/Horizons! Our Cornhouse Tournament is being rescheduled for the spring, so keep your eyes out for that information!

DATE CHANGE! Join us at our 8th grade Cornhole Tournament Saturday, October 3rd! $50 per team. Registration at 10am and bags fly at 11am. Please pre-register using the QR code on the flyer so we know how many people will be in attendance.
